This macro creates a new To Do item in the Agenda from the current selection. If there is no selection, the word the cursor is in is used instead.
If Agenda is already open, it will work very quickly in the background, just playing a tick to let you know when it is done.
I find it vital to have just one place to look for To Do items. Using new to do
, any time I am writing something in a patient progress note, or gathering or archiving a scribble, or looking at an agenda item, I can quickly create a To Do from it.
To Do's are given a default priority of 4. You can change this by modifying the source code.
