County Fair
The
Sacramento County Fair is kind of an orphan stepchild to the
California State Fair. Everyone knows the big State Fair, but the little County Fair -- held earlier in the year at the same site -- is much less of an extravaganza. We like it because it is inexpensive, low key, and a lot more personal.
Matthew, Joshua, Elizabeth, and I visited the fair today, the last day this year.
- The weather is warming up; time for hoseplay with Joshua:
- Also time for the pool!:
- Starting on the Ferris wheel:
- Joshua and Daddy are here, too:
- High over Sacramento:
- Pedal tractors!:
- He's built for speed:
- The home stretch:
- Now it's time to help Joshua:
- Baby brother is no slouch:
- Next, it's time for some ropin':
- Got one!:
- Git along, little dogie:
- Got another!:
- With Daddy on the bumper cars:
- Matthew is at the very top of this funhouse slide:
- Now he's at the bottom!:
- Back home, they still want to drive the car:
- They make the wipers and washers work, without a key:
Matthew played some midway games, and won a sword, a plush doggie, and a stuffed...
orca! Coincidence????
